The PPECB wishes to congratulate Pinki Luwaca, PPECB Human Resources Executive, on her recent appointment to the Agricultural Sector Education and Training Authority (AgriSETA), Board.

AgriSETA, a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998) is a scheduled 3A public entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act. Its mandate includes developing and implementing a Sector Skills Plan, promoting learning programmes, registering learning programme agreements, serving as Education and Training Quality Authority, collecting and disbursing skills development levies, liaising with National Skills Authority and reporting to the Director–General of the Department of Higher Education and Training on its activities.
On 5 April 2018 the Honourable Minister of Higher Education and Training, Ms Neldi Pandor, appointed members to the AgriSETA Accounting Authority (Governing Board). Mrs Luwaca was one of the members appointed and chairs the Finance and Remuneration sub-committee.
