Accredited facilitators  provide formal theoretical training on:

  • Export legislation and certification
  • Factors influencing export
  • Food safety
  • Product knowledge
  • Cold chain management
  • Total quality management systems and viability
  • Recent innovations

    • Agricultural Sciences

What happens once I have completed the AETP?

Valuable, on-the-job exposure is highly beneficial when applying for vacancies, whether at PPECB or in the industry. Although completing the AETP does not guarantee employment it does strengthen your chances of finding a job.

How do I apply for the AETP programme?

The application window opens on 1 October annually and closes on 1 December. Shortlisting takes place during December every year and short-listed candidates are invited to attend interviews during January and February.
