Are there any new supporting documents which must be submitted at certification for verification?
At this stage no additional supporting documents will be required. Pre-verification will be done at container loading and information will be verified by the assessors.
Can consignments be re-routed to the EU if the inspection was done for another target country/region?
Yes, if the EU requirements are met. The procedure for diverting fruit to the EU must be applied.
Can the new fields on the revised addendum be completed or amended by hand?
No, the packhouse, exporter, agent and cold store systems must be enhanced to carry and print the information relevant to these fields on the addendum.
Does the new fields on the revised addendum apply to all fresh fruit and vegetables, excluding stone fruit?
No, the new fields only apply to citrus fruit excluding lemons, limes and kumquats.
Does the new fields on the revised addendum apply to all target regions and countries where citrus fruit excluding lemons and limes are exported?
No, it only applies to EUN (including Switzerland) and UKI.
If FCM is found during PPECB inspection, what happens to the applicable orchard?
Only the applicable pallet/consignment is rejected, the rejection does not impact the FMS status of the orchard.
